Fighting gender stereotypes in online spaces and the workplace with the creativity of the youth

HEY PEOPLE! is a project with the main goal to battle gender stereotypes prevalent in online spaces, which negatively affect the professional career of young people.

HEY PEOPLE! is a project with a main objective to battle the gender stereotypes prevalent in online spaces that negatively influence young people’s professional careers. Social media often reinforces these stereotypes, and we believe it is important that we increase the awareness about this and counter assumptions. By stimulating young people’s creativity, we help them counter the negative expectations for themselves, altering the harmful images created by social media. We provide a safe environment to facilitate young people’s discourse around this issue to help them tackle gender stereotypes in job recruitment. The project is co-financed by the CERV Programme of the EU.
